Tennessee Rule 31 Listed Mediator

Chuck has extensive trial experience litigating over 75 jury trials to verdict, including insurance defense clients, national and regional motor carriers, commercial liability/premises liability and sporting accidents. Chuck has 38 years of litigation experience as a partner at the regional law firms Leitner Williams Dooley & Napolitan, (1990-2015) and McAngus Goudelock & Courie (2015-2024).

In his spare time Chuck enjoys golf, snow-skiing, hiking and a 48 year passion of exploring, mapping & locating caves throughout the state of Tennessee. Due to its extensive and scenic limestone terrain Tennessee has over 11,000 caves - far more than any state in the union, with new caverns located each year. Chuck began cave exploring with like-minded individuals in the 1970s and has explored miles of cave passages and vertical pits/shafts hundreds of feet deep. He is a fellow of National Speleological Society. If you have a question about Tennessee caves, springs, ridges and hollows, Chuck has the answers!

A Tennessee native, Chuck has lived most of his life in Franklin, Tennessee, graduating from Franklin high school, and attaining Eagle Scout.

Chuck is also a rule 31 listed mediator. As further qualifications for serving as a mediator Chuck has raised six children with his blended family, including two sets of twins , which has required years of practical dispute resolution!
